Guest Lecture: Dr. Maha Salem on Human-Robot Interactions, 2 June

Dr. Maha Salem will be presenting her work on Human-Robot Interactions this Tuesday at t2i Lab. She will discuss how humanlike communicative behaviors such as gesture and speech impact human perceptions of robots; what happens when robots exhibit social flaws while interacting with humans; and the impact of these flaws on their trustworthiness.
